Background
Came to the Peace region in 1991 from a family farm in central Saskatchewan and has spent about 35 years in oil and gas as a mechanic and general contractor.[3] His disclosure lists his income as Regional Manager, Enerflex Ltd., and PRRD director.[2]
Electoral history
Alternate director to Jordan Kealy, who resigned after being elected MLA for Peace River North in 2024. Won the February 22, 2025 by-election, 204 votes to Madeleine Lehmann's 102 (preliminary).[1] Acclaimed in 2026.[5]

- Vice-chair of the Solid Waste Committee; member of the Electoral Area Directors', Rural Budgets Administration and Invasive Plant committees.[6]
- Voted for Sperling's defeated motion to give Area C half of the Site C grant-in-lieu of taxes (July 2025).[7]
- Voted against renewing the PRRD's NCLGA membership (August 2025); it carried anyway.[8][9]
- On the new rural zoning bylaw (March 2026): "We're kind of cherry picking what we feel we want to change, and not listening to the people there."[10] In August 2026 he seconded the board motion abandoning that bylaw.[11]
