Owner-operator of Trend Setters Hair Salon at 925 103rd Avenue downtown, according to a 2013 city staff report. The salon corresponded with the city as early as 2000, so she has been in Dawson Creek at least 26 years.[1] Search-engine listings of the city's business directory in September 2026 show a "Trend Setter Hair Fashions" at 10411 10th Street with a contact email beginning "barb," which suggests she still operates the business, but this was not confirmed directly.
Nomination consent dated August 12, 2026 (papers prepared before the nomination period opened). Her own financial agent. Nominators: Pearl Evelyn Thompson and Pauline Elizabeth Gerwien. No social-media links listed.[2] A Don Slowinski sought a development variance at 1233 117th Avenue in 2006 (denied, then approved on reconsideration); the relationship is unverified.
