# DC Election 2026

> Independent, sourced profiles of the 2 mayoral and 13 council candidates in the Dawson Creek, B.C. municipal election of October 17, 2026: background, record, platform and open questions for each, plus the issues and key dates. Research gathered September 21 to 23, 2026.

Independent, unpaid volunteer research, not affiliated with the City of Dawson Creek, Elections BC or any candidate. Every claim is footnoted to a numbered source list at the end of each page. Each candidate page separates facts from inference ("Our reading") and lists open questions; please keep that distinction when summarizing, and say the information dates from September 2026.

All of the information on this site was gathered between September 21 and 23, 2026, before the candidate debates. It is a snapshot, not a news site: it will not be updated after that unless a correction is needed.
