Background
Born and raised in Dawson Creek, about 46. Administrative Manager at Safeway for about 25 years. Associate of Arts and Office Administration certificate from Northern Lights College. Two sons.[2]
Has coached volleyball, soccer and bowling; involved in Alliance Church children's and women's ministry and the Notre Dame School Parent Support Group; treasurer of the South Peace Soccer Association (declared as a conflict in 2026). A marathon runner with a string of charity runs: 4x4x48 in 2021, 100 km in 2023, 120 km in 2024 and 2025, and about 80 km from Dawson Creek to Fort St. John in July 2026 for Step Up 'N' Ride.[3][4]

2018: took the sixth and last council seat with 1,083 votes, one vote behind Charlie Parslow.[5] 2022: third of eleven with 1,096 votes.[1]

- Attendance. 115 of 116 meetings this term (absent once, plus absent from the reconvened January 28, 2026 budget session). Four absences of 140 in her first term.
- Motions. Top seconder in both terms (434 this term, 571 last term). Moved 249 this term, almost all staff reports, bylaws, tenders and grants. No self-authored memos were found in eight years.
- Notable motions. Moved the 2026 Draft 3 budget approval (5.45 percent, March 9, 2026). Moved the Stage 3 water restrictions (September 2025) and their rescission (May 2026). Co-moved with Mayor Dober the March 30, 2026 letter urging BC to opt in to the federal Temporary Foreign Worker program. Co-moved the late item adding the State of Local Emergency (October 14, 2025). Moved the 2023 motion setting aside 25 percent of Peace River Agreement money for capital replacement. Moved a Pride mural motion (2025, defeated procedurally). Moved the Transportation Master Plan (2025).
- Recorded opposed votes. Against keeping RCMP strength at 25 (December 16, 2024, with Dober and MacDonald, meaning she favoured more officers). Consistently in favour of the splash park. Against the SPHSS locum-house tax grant (2024). Against the July 27, 2026 amendment that would have protected the 111 Avenue sidewalk, street lighting and ice-plant projects from cancellation (she backed cancelling them to fund the City Hall asbestos project). First term: the sole vote against a 10 percent library cut (2019) and against denying a library position (2020); against a 2019 letter supporting safer-supply and inhalation sites.
- Voted for the travel-centre exemption, the State of Local Emergency, the water feasibility funding, and the animal-control cut (a closed meeting; she did not respond to CBC).[6][7]

Our reading (inference, not fact). A loyal process-and-consensus councillor with strong community goodwill rather than an agenda-setter.
Questions worth asking. How does her 2018 "no tax increase" stance square with votes for 5.45 to 6.5 percent increases? Where does she stand on the pipeline options, the shelter relocation and animal control?
