(Glacier Mobile Glass), an auto, residential and industrial glass company started in Dawson Creek in 2011 (one source says about 2009). The company later opened in Grande Prairie (2016) and Prince George (2017) and bought Lake City Glass in Williams Lake in 2019. It had about 30 employees as of January 2023.[4][5][1][6] Born and raised in Dawson Creek. His stepson, Kayden Casault, manages the Dawson Creek shop.[5] He has described himself publicly as a former substance user who went to rehab about 2004.[7] No information about his education was found. ## Electoral history None. He does not appear on any Dawson Creek candidate list for 2011, 2014, 2018, 2020 or 2022. This is his first run for any office. ## Organizations and community roles - Past president (2017) of the South Peace Oilmen's Association and still an active member.[8] - Says he has been involved in minor hockey and sat on the Dawson Creek Golf and Country Club board (self-reported on his website; dates not verified).[2] - Member of the 2022-23 "Citizens Take Action" / Community Action Group on crime. He was not its leader; the group was headed by Doug Scott.[6] - Glacier Glass won Best Glass Dealership in the 2026 South Peace People's Choice Awards. ## Public record on civic issues His only documented political activity before 2026 is the 2022-23 citizen crime movement. - **December 5, 2022.** One of eight business owners (with Kirk Branvold, Steve Reynolds, Jason Mattson, Paul Stewart, Doug Scott, Jerrett Arndt and Myron Friesen) who appeared before council about escalating crime. The group asked for a dedicated extra RCMP unit like Fort St. John's and said they did not want to be seen as vigilantes.[9][10] - **January 13, 2023.** Quoted by Northern Beat: "I've hired security that costs me $5,600 a month... That's on top of my $46,000 a year in taxes to the City of Dawson Creek." Also: "I don't believe Crown is doing their job," and "I'm afraid that it's going to start getting ugly between good citizens just trying to protect their properties."[6] - **April 28, 2023.** At the "Enough is Enough" rally: "Enabling does not help. For example, 19 years ago, I went to rehab. Six years ago, I went to visit my rehab... only to find out they lost their government funding and had to make it a day program." And: "It really, really bothers me that they will put funding away from a program that works and build safe injection sites."[7] - **Context.** The RCMP warned the citizen group in November 2022 that its actions could bring criminal charges, and council denied the group's November 2022 requests (a letter to MLAs, an RCMP audit, moving fire budget to the RCMP, replacing the RCMP). Dilworth is not named in those items.[11][12] ## 2026 campaign and platform Announced on Facebook on June 29, 2026: "Born and raised in Dawson Creek... I believe our city deserves leadership built on integrity, accountability, and hard work... My commitment is simple: I'll work for you." His website lists four planks:[2] 1. **Responsible spending.** "Focus on necessities first and make every tax dollar count." 2. **A safe community.** "A community where residents, families and businesses feel safe." 3. **Supporting growth and local business.** 4. **Accountable and accessible leadership.** "A City Council that listens, communicates and is accountable to residents." As of September 21, 2026 the site and campaign posts say nothing about the water pipeline, the budget numbers, the Nawican shelter or the travel-centre tax exemption. Campaign posts are mostly event attendance and thank-yous. His financial agent, Paul Gevatkoff, is a two-term former councillor (elected 2014 and 2018) who is also a director of the South Peace Oilmen's Association.[3] ## News coverage as a candidate Named in Energeticcity.ca candidate round-ups on September 4 and 12,[13][14] The Broken Typewriter on September 7 and 15,[15] CJDC-TV on September 15, and the Edmonton Journal on September 21, 2026 ("Dilworth has campaigned on a message of working for residents, with integrity and accountability"). No interview or issue-based profile had been published as of September 21. No endorsements reported. ## What the record shows **Facts.** A successful multi-location business founder, a service-club past president, a lifelong resident, and a single-issue public record (crime, 2022-23). He has never held office and has appeared before council once. He has no published position on the water supply decision, the dominant issue of the coming term. **Our reading (inference, not fact).** An outsider-businessman candidacy motivated by frustration with policing and Crown counsel and by the cost of private security. His 2023 remarks suggest a law-and-order, anti-harm-reduction outlook that would shape his approach to the Nawican shelter, but he has not said so in 2026. Having Paul Gevatkoff as agent suggests access to experienced advice. **Questions worth asking.** How would he finance a water project priced at $194M to $272M? What is his answer to the $10M-a-year infrastructure deficit? Does he still support the 2022 citizen group's asks (a dedicated RCMP unit, an RCMP audit)?
